The arrival window of forty to sixty minutes applies to central Amsterdam. A room at Schiphol or at one of the hotels around the airport sits outside it, and a booking there is arranged on its own terms.
Journey time first
Before anything is fixed, the length of her journey to the airport is agreed with you in the thread. It depends on the hour and on where she is setting out from, and it is stated plainly rather than folded into a window. Only once that is settled is the hour confirmed.
Always a deposit
Every airport hotel booking carries a deposit of half the fee, whatever its length and whether or not you have booked before. The figures themselves are the ordinary ones: 180 euros for an hour, 270 for ninety minutes, 360 for two hours.
After an evening in town
Guests staying at the airport who spend the evening in the city have the longest journey home of anyone, and late-night transport to the airport is thinner than the daytime service. Plan the ride back first, then name an hour that allows for it with room to spare. Mention in the first message whether the lift needs a keycard, because airport hotels tend to be large buildings with strict night rules.
